Grove Hill was established in 1854 with a park like design. It sets just South of Shelbyville with over 18,000 graves. They have an easy to use online database so you can find people at http://www.grovehillcemetery.net. I enjoyed my time in this cemetery and plan to go back, it was a very nice place to walk. On this visit I found a water lick on the ground in the back of the cemetery and called on the phone to tell them. I only got a recording and had to leave a voice mail. I hope they were able to find it.
Bad water lick coming out of the ground.
In this cemetery they had a lot of large flags up.
I wanted to take a rest in this chair but it wasn’t upright.
Well water anyone?
Even well maintained cemeteries still have preservation work to do.
