Cave Hill Cemetery Louisville, KY

This week I visited Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville KY. It’s a beautiful cemetery, I took many pictures and put together the above video for you. Below are some photos that you might find interesting. Even at this cemetery with many employees taking care of the grounds, you still see preservation work that needs to be done.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Harland Sanders has a monument in Section 33. When you enter the cemetery off of Baxter Ave. you follow the yellow line on the road until it ends, then look to your right.

Patty Hill in Section G was the kindergarten teacher who
wrote the “Happy Birthday” Song.

This high brick wall has barb wire on the top, I don’t
think it’s for keeping people in!
