The sunny fall day that I visited this church yard, I found it to be a very pleasant place. It’s a short drive out on a country road in Fayette County KY. The church has a small congregation with services every sunday morning.
Many of the old headstones are still standing. Currenty the cemetery is being well maintained and mapping process is being donated by Wilkins’ Historic Cemetery Preservation.

In the 1800’s box tombs was placed over the grave to keep animals from digging up the remainds.
The church was organized in 1787 and the current structure was erected in 1847. In the past weeks they have had a lot of rain come into the building, donaitons are being taken to pay for a new roof. Please help if you can, by sending dontiaons to:
